Funeral services for Mrs. Tillie Tauszig were held yesterday morning at the Universal Funeral Chapel, Lexington avenue and Fifty-second street, with interment afterwards in the Union Fields Cemetery, Brooklyn, Rabbi Louis Newman of the Temple Rodeph Sholom officiated, assisted by the Rev. Martin Meltzoff.
Mrs. Tauszig, who was the widow of Nicholas Tauszig, chemist, died at her residence, 609 West 114th street, last Sunday, in her seventy-eighth year. She was long active in the welfare projects of the Temple Rodeph Sholom, of which her father, the late Joseph Wolf, was a fuonder.
Survivors include a son, Douglas N. Tauszig; two sisters, Mrs. Emanuel Strauss and Mrs. Isaac Wolf; and a brother, Jacob C. Wolf, all of New York.
