The Gestapo, secret political police, yesterday lifted a two-week ban on Jewish meetings, ruling that applications for permits to hold public gatherings must be submitted in writing a week in advance of the scheduled date. The applications must state the purpose of the meeting, the subjects to be discussed, and the list of speakers.
