An international music foundation to be known as the Mozart Foundation was established with the gift of 100,000 Schilling by the Austrian financier, Castiglioni.

Castiglioni is the son of the rabbi. Although he has left the Jewish community he often gives sums for Jewish causes, including the Keren Hayesod.
