The Jews and the Allies were blamed last night for Germany’s present condition by Col. -Gen. Hermann Wilhelm Goering, newly-appointed dictator of the Reich’s four-year plan, addressing a large crowd at the Sportspalast.

“Our colonies have been stolen from us,” he declaimed to thunderous applause. “Our gold has been stolen from us. Germany has been bled white by reparations. Then came the Chosen People and plundered Germany through the inflation. It is bitter mockery to say ‘Why don’t you buy your raw materials?’ Give us back our gold and we shall.”

He scolded foreign correspondents “for making a noise about any little Jew who is hurt.”
