Great Britain has not abandoned the Palestine partition plan, Dr. Bernard Joseph, legal adviser of the Jewish Agency, stated yesterday on arriving on the Berengaria from Jerusalem for a month’s visit here during which he will confer with Jewish leaders and address the National Conference for Palestine in Washington this weekend. An “overwhelming majority” of Palestine’s Jews favor some form of partition, Dr. Joseph said.
