Group of Jewish Deportees Reach Switzerland from Slovakia; Placed in Internment Camp

Sixty-nine Jewish deportees from Slovakia, including men, women and children, have arrived in Kruczlingen, the Neue Zuricher Zeitung reports.

The paper says that two trucks carrying the deportees were allowed to cross into Switzerland, and after being fed at Kreuzlingen, the arrivals were transferred to an internment camp. Among them are Rabbi Halberstam from Stropkow and Rabbi Weismandel from Nitra.
