Guild for Blind Names Wallstein to Presidency

Leonard M. Wallstein was elected president of the New York Guild for the Jewish Blind, to succeed I. Montefiore Levy, at the annual meeting at the Guild’s Home, Yonkers, it was announced yesterday.

Other new officers include Jerome Lewine, vice-president, and Max B. Brummer, treasurer.

Ibn-Sid, a Jew of Toledo, Spain compiled astronomical calculations which were used by scientists up to the time of the modern astronomical discoveries.
