Guild Junior League to Hold Benefit Dance

Many reservations have been made for the fifth anniversary dance and Monte Carlo evening which the Junior League of the New York Guild for the Jewish Blind will hold at the Plaza on Thanksgiving Eve, for the benefit of the blind. Music will be by Johnny Green and his orchestra. A program of entertainment has been arranged.

Committee members include David B. Bandler, Miss Anita Cardozo, Maxwell Davidson Jr., Miss Lenore Gardner, Walter Ginzler, Miss Joan R. Levy, Miss Margery J. Lewine, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Otten, Mrs. Sidney E. Pollack, Miss Janet Rosenwald, Miss Louise S. Schwarz, S. Budd Simon, Miss Dorothy J. Steinfeld and Mr. and Mrs. Burton M. Strauss.

Joa#him Heinrich Biesenthal, nineteenth century German missionary, received the degree of doctor of the ology from the University of Giesen.
