KLM, the well-known Dutch air carrier, has cancelled four planned trips for its personnel to the Gulf state of Oman because of that country’s discriminatory policy toward Israel and those who have visited the Jewish state.
Oman does not permit persons carrying either Israeli passports or other passports bearing stamps of entry into Israel.
A spokesman at the Oman embassy in London, however, said Oman does not require visitors to declare they are not Jewish.
The trips had been planned for October and November. Few KLM employees showed much interest in the flights, however.
