The 30-member Habimah troupe which will open tomorrow night in a Broadway presentation of “The Dybbuk” is expected to land tomorrow morning at La Guardia airport following a nearly week-long delay resulting from the group’s being stranded in Greece following the shut-down of Lydda airport in Palestine.
Under the Joint sponsorship of the American Fund for Palestinian Institutions and Theatre, Inc., the famed group will perform on Broadway through May and then will tour large Jewish communities throughout the U.S. In-addition to the Dybbuk, the troupe will present: David’s Crown, The Golem and Oedipus Rex.
