A Rosh Hashanah gift of $1,500 for the purchase of shoes and clothing for needy persons in Palestine has been cabled by the Palestine Supplies Bureau of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, to its representatives in Palestine, it was announced yesterday by Mrs. A. H. Fromenson, chairman of the Palestine Supplies Bureau. The purchase will be made in time for distribution before the New Year.
Hadassah headquarters also cabled $15,000 to Palestine for its health work and related activities as part of the regular monthly commitment.
