The national membership campaign of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, that has been the uppermost Hadassah activity during November, is entering its final phase and will be brought to a whirlwind finish on December 8.
In 300 cities, from coast to coast, Hadassah chapters will conduct special public events in connection with the campaign, beginning with Hadassah Sabbath on December 3. On that day in hundreds of synagogues and temples rabbis will tell their congregations about Hadassah’s part in Jewish life in America and its part in the reconstruction of Palestine as a Jewish Homeland. On December 4th large community rallies will be held, featuring well known Zionists as speakers. Zionist Districts and Junior Hadassah are cooperating to make these rallies outstanding community events.
The concluding event of membership week will be a series of “victory luncheons” on December 8th.
