A round-trip ticket to Palestine was to be awarded Saturday night to the winner in a contest conducted by the New York unit of Junior Hadassah, the Young Women’s Zionist Organization of America.
The award was to be made at an informal dance conducted by the Junior Hadassah unit on board the S. S. Illinois at Ninety-Seventh Street and the Hudson River. About 2,000 persons were expected to attend the dance.
