Hamas officials thanked Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Abdullah for refusing an invitation to visit the United States, a Saudi newspaper reported. Earlier this month, The New York Times quoted U.S. officials as saying Abdullah had declined an invitation to visit Washington in June to protest what he said was the United States’ failure to stop Israeli attacks on Palestinians.
