The new tri-power policy on arms shipments to the Near East was hailed last night in a resolution adopted at the closing session here of the four-day 27th annual convention of the Hapoel Hamizrachi. However, the 500 delegates at the parley expressed their anxiety over the continuing re-armament in the area.
Other resolutions adopted by the representatives of 30,000 organized religious labor Zionists in this country, hailed the organization’s campaign to have the anicent Sanhedrin reconstituted, and demanded that the Rapoel Hamizrachi be permitted to absorb all religious Jews who desire to enter religious settlements in Israel.
