Hartford U. Grants Recognition to Fraternities Barring Bias

The University of Hartford extended official recognition today to five fraternities and sororities which accepted criteria barring any form of discrimination in membership.

The criteria include the rule that “no social fraternity or sorority shall discriminate against any candidate because of race, color, religion or national origin.”
