Hebrew University Elects New Board of Governors; Henry Morgenthau Named Chairman

Prof. Albert Einstein was elected honorary chairman of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University which concluded its three-day session here. Henry Morgenthau, Jr., was elected chairman of the board and Dr. Israel Wechsler of New York and Israel Chief Justice Moishe Zmoira of the Supreme Court of Israel were elected vice-chairmen.

A number of members of the board and several foreign scholars and guests who are attending the 25th anniversary celebration of the Hebrew University today visited the grounds of the University, stop Mt, Scopus. The party received special permission to make the journey from Arab Legion forces which control the road up the height.
