Hebrew University Receives Grant for Construction of Phytotron

The Hebrew University here received today a grant of 35,000 pounds from the Palestine Jewish Colonization Association for the construction of a phytotron, apparatus which produces all sorts of climatic conditions from Arctic cold to tropical rainfall. The phytotron will be set up next to the University’s botany laboratories and will be used to study plant life under different weather conditions
