Henry M. Toch, president of Toch Brothers, paint manufacturers, and chairman of the board of Standard Varnish Works, died Sunday morning after an illness of two years at his home 1111 Park Ave. He was 71 years old.
Mr. Toch was treasurer of Temple Emanu-El and had served on its board of trustees for the last twenty years, having been a member of the Temple Emanu-El board before the merger with Beth-El in May 1927.
Mr. Toch was deeply and actively interested also in patriotic and civic movements. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dora Magnus Toch, two sisters and two brothers.
The funeral will be held at Temple Emanu-El at two o’clock this afternoon. Burial will be in the Toch private mausoleum in Cypress Hills Cemetery.
