Helene Mayer, the seventeen-year old daughter of an Offenbach Jewish physician, will be the guest of honor at a tea and reception to be given Sunday, October 14, by Paul von Hindenburg, president of the German Republic. Miss Mayer is one of the Olympic fencing champions. In a press interview, when questioned on her political views, she declared that she is a sincere Republican.
