Hisporian Predicts Soviet Will Soon Start Persecuting Jews

Dr. Carleton J.H. Hayes, noted historian and professor of history at Columbia University, declared before the American Philosophical Society Friday night that persecution of Jews by Soviet Russia and oppression of Christians by Germany was imminent.

“In Russia, they are getting prepared to persecute the Jews, while in Germany all indications are that the Christians will be next,” Prof. Hayes said. He attributed the rise of despotism to economic changes in Europe.
