The negotiations between the Dutch and West German Governments on compensation for Dutch victims of Nazi persecution is “very unsatisfying,” Dr. Josef Luns, Dutch Minister for Foreign Affairs, told the Dutch Senate today.
He said the West German Government’s attitude was very disappointing. The talks have been going on for several years with little result. It was learned reliably that Holland is claiming a minimum of 125, 000, 000 marks, mostly on behalf of Dutch Jewish victims.
