During the year of 1922, a total of 109,000 persons emigrated from Poland, over 86,000 being Jews. The greatest number of emigrants proceeded to the United States of America – over 70,000 Jews and about 20,000 non-Jews. Over 5,000 Jews and about 3,000 non-Jews emigrated to Canada, 2,200 Jews and 48 non-Jews to the Argentine, 212 Jews and 41 non-Jews to Brazil, and 6,000 Jews to Palestine. Over 2,000 Jews and 350 non-Jews emigrated to other countries.
