Human rights groups petitioned Israel’s High Court of Justice to end “targeted killings” of suspected Palestinian terrorists. The Public Committee Against Torture and the Palestinian human rights organization LAW argue that the policy of assassinating alleged terrorist leaders is “patently illegal” and that those involved in the policy may be engaged in war crimes.
