Hungary Prepares Fund to Buy Jews’ Land

The Hungarian Government has set aside about 40,000,000 pengoes to compensate Jewish land owners for property to be expropriated under an impending land revision law, according to the newspaper 8-Orai Ujsag. Pre-war owners of land will receive preferential treatment, the paper says.
