Louis Zahne, in a letter to members of his German American Independent Voters League, declares the league made a “very creditable showing” in its write-in campaign for John F. Hylan in the recent Governorship race.

He announces a meeting at Yorkville Turn Hall for this evening, and modestly, over his own signature, promises “a most interesting meeting which no member should miss because . . . our national chairman, Louis Zahne, will give an analysis of the recent election which will prove conclusively that our Voters League played a very important part in that election.”
