Astoria Junior Hadassah is holding its annual May dance tomorrow night at the Temple of Israel Community Center, 210 West Ninety-first Street.
The first anniversary of Biro-Bidjan as a Jewish autonomous territory will be celebrated tomorrow evening at Town Hall.
The celebration has been arranged by the Icor, American organization helping the upbuilding of Biro-Bidjan for Jewish settlement. Speakers at the celebration will include Prof. Charles Kuntz, J. M. Budish, J. Opotoshu, Peretz Hirshbein, Reuben Brainin, Dr. L. Schatzov, M. Olgin, S. Almazov, M. Katz and others.
