Anti-Semitic slogans were found scrawled today on various streets, buildings and residential districts in which a leading Jewish businessman, Benjamin Tenenbaum, has major holdings.
Some of the slogans were “Death to the Jews, ” “Oust Monopolist Jews, ” and “Campaign for a Free Guatemala. “Swastikas also were found among the inscriptions. A month ago there was a campaign to sell anti-Semitic books but officials took no action then and apparently were taking none against the new smear campaign.
