Interior Minister Gaston Deferre has pledged the French government’s determination to dismantle “once and for all” neo-Nazi organizations or groups still active in France. Deferre, speaking on Armistice Day to a gathering of French war veterans, said:

“I shall feel satisfied that the neo-Nazis are no longer dangerous only when those responsible for the Rue Copernic synagogue bomb attack will be arrested and brought to trial.”
