Drummont published newspaper which advocated violert anti-Semitism. He also wrote, “Jewish France, ” which is considered the “Frenchman’s anti-Semitic Bible. ” The League protest contained an appeal to French public opinion and to “all true Democrats” to oppose the newly created body which it called “an insult to France and democracy.”
