Acting on the complaint of the Jewish leaders concerning the renewed anti-Jewish attacks in the district of Ismail, the Roumanian government despatched an investigating commission to the region.
Chief Rabbi Zirelson was informed today in a telegram received from Dr. William Filderman that the commission, consisting of the Jewish senator, Horiah Karp and Mr. Kaloyanu. director of the Ministry of the Interior, will proceed immediately to Chichmola, where the attacks occurred.
