Ira Nelson Morris, of Chicago was decorated by Prince Nicholas in behalf of the Regency with the Grand Cordon of the Star of Roumania. This honor is conferred upon him, as announced, for “services to Roumania and his never-failing efforts to promote friendly relations between Roumania and the United States.”

Mr. Morris has undertaken to put the Roumanian Government in touch with influential American bankers with a view of negotiating a loan of $50,000,000.
