Iraq has not deployed missiles capable of hitting Israel, the head of Israeli military intelligence said this week. Briefing Israeli legislators Tuesday, Maj. Gen. Aharon Ze’evi said that while Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has missiles capable of reaching Israel, he has not deployed them in Iraq’s western desert, the only area from which they could hit Israel.
