Israel began exhuming the bodies of Lebanese fighters that will be exchanged for the body of an Israeli who was killed in a commando raid in Lebanon in September. As part of the exchange, Israel is to hand over the remains of several dozen fighters from Shi’ite groups and release several dozen others. Among those involved in negotiating the deal were the French and Lebanese governments, as well as the International Red Cross.
