Rabbi Judah Maimon, Minister of Religion whose walk-out from a Cabinet meeting last week procipitated what was termed here a grave political crisis, has decided to remain in the Cabinet until all points of difference between the Religious Bloc and the Mapai, on one hand, and within the Religious Bloc, on the other, are settled, it was announced today.

Rabbi Maimon’s walk-out was a demonstration of protest against an announcement by Dr. Dov Joseph, Supply Minister, that Israel–owing to the lower purchase price–will import non-kosher meat from U.S. surplus stocks.
