The Israel Cabinet discussed the recent notes from the United States, Britain and France on Israel-Arab border tension and the Eric Johnston proposal for development of the Jordan River valley at today’s regular weekly meeting.
The official communique issued after the meeting did not disclose whether the Cabinet had decided to accept or reject either the Western notes on border security or the Johnston plan. Nor did the communique state whether the Cabinet would further discuss either matter, but it is believed here that both issues will again come up before the Cabinet.
