Israel closed a Palestinian prisoners’ advocacy group in Jerusalem, saying the organization had violated an understanding to move its activities outside of the capital. The move on Sunday came after the Palestinian official in charge of Jerusalem affairs accused the Israeli government of trying to sow tension between Arab and Jewish residents in Jerusalem.
