The fifth of eight fishing trawlers for which orders were placed in Germany by Israel under the reparations agreement has left Rotterdam for Israel. The newest trawler, “Lamercahv,” was built in Walsum, in the Ruhr.

Equipped with the latest electronic devices which help fishermen locate schools of fish, the trawler will be assigned to bring sea food to Israel’s tables from Elath in the Red Sea and ports on the Mediterranean coast.
