Israel Government Compensates Bedouins for Losses Due to Drought

The Ministry of Agriculture will pay Negev Bedouins a total of 1, 000, 000 pounds to compensate for losses suffered by these Israeli Arabs during the drought last winter, it was reported here today. The money will be distributed to some 3, 000 Bedain families who engage in agriculture in the Negev.
