Israel is creating an office to locate the heirs of bank accounts and property belonging to Holocaust victims. Until now, the office that managed abandoned property waited for survivors or their heirs to turn up and claim their property. The new unit will start its operations next year, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz.
