Israel is worried about an upcoming Arab-South American summit. An Israeli diplomat in South America said “there has been increasing pressure on the South American delegations to approve condemnations of Israel. There has also been an attempt by the Arab League to enlist the South Americans to vote in a bloc against Israel in U.N. resolutions” at the May 10-11 conference in Brasilia, Brazil.
