Hundreds of residents of this city reported today that they saw objects believed to be “flying saucers” in the skies over Tel Aviv last night. The objects are said to have circled noiselessly, but at great speed, over the city for about two minutes, disappearing toward the east and leaving a trail of smoke behind them. Israel Air Force spokesmen refused to comment on the reports.
