Gideon Pearlman, a high official in the Israel Treasury, today left by plane for Moscow where he will negotiate with Soviet authorities for the purchase of crude oil.
Mr. Pearlman carries specific proposals for terms and method of payment for the oil that Israel seeks. Since his departure coincides with the departure of a citrus marketing delegation for the Soviet Union, it is believed that some of the oil will be obtained on a barter agreement in exchange for citrus products.
