Israel Orchestra to Tour U.s.s.r.; Moscow Sends Ballet to Israel

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra will tour the Soviet Union in May of next year, acceding to a contract signed this weekend in Moscow, it was reported here today. The tour will include Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev and another city as yet unspecified.

Scheduled to appear in Israel will be the Bolshoi Ballet of Moscow and the leading Soviet violinist, David Oistrakh. The Israel Philharmonic currently has as a guest performer, the Soviet cellist, Rostropovich.
