Honors were paid formally in Parliament today to the late Zalman Shneur, Yiddish-Hebrew novelist and poet who died last week-end in New York. The entire Parliament stood in silence for a minute in tribute to the writer’s memory, then adopted unanimously a resolution expressing condolences to Mr. Shneur’s family. A eulogy was delivered by Zalman Aranne, Minister of Education and Culture.
