The Israel Government has “conditionally agreed” to permit Syrian passenger airlines to fly over Israel territory, the Times of London reported today.
Israel fighter planes forced down a Syrian plane earlier this month when it violated Israel air space but the plane, with its crew and passengers, was later released. The Israel-Syrian Mixed Armistice Commission refused this week to censure Israel for the action.
