Israel Physicians Extend Their “passive Resistance” Strike

Physicians in Israel working for the government or for municipalities extended today their “passive resistance” strike for higher wages by reducing their work day to seven hours. This caused the closing of departments in various municipal hospitals and forced the institutions to accept no new cases, except those classified as emergencies.
