Israel reportedly refused to accept a videotape proving that a soldier held hostage in Gaza is alive. Ma’ariv reported Sunday that Hamas representatives offered to provide Israel with the video footage of Cpl. Gilad Shalit, who was abducted outside the Gaza Strip last June, on the condition that Israel release between 200 and 250 Palestinian prisoners.
