Funeral services attended by leading Jewish theatrical and literary personalities were held today for Israel Rosenberg, well-known Yiddish playwright, who died this week, aged 68. Born in Lublin, Poland, he came to Canada in 1917, settling in the United States subsequently. Many of his plays were produced in various Jewish centers around the world.
