Israel welcomed Kofi Annan’s condemnation of anti-Semitism at a U.N. conference. The U.N. secretary-general on Monday noted the “alarming resurgence” of anti-Semitism in the world and called on the U.N. General Assembly to adopt a resolution saying the Israeli-Palestinian conflict should never justify the targeting of Jews.
